MXM Adopters Agreement
The purpose of the MXM Adopters Agreement is to keep the MXM community an open, royalty-free ecosystem. Signed MXM Adopters enjoy a worldwide, royalty-free license from fellow Adopters for any MXM feature for which they have a patent. Signed MXM Adopters also grant the same reciprocal benefit to other Signed Adopters for their MXM compliant systems.
The Agreement allows technical collaboration between the MXM Adopters in order to bring the best solution to market, while still maintaining a royalty-free ecosystem.
Adopter Benefits
Signed MXM Adopters enjoy the ability to collaborate with other signed Adopters and influence the specification. Adopters also enjoy early access to draft specifications, application notes, compliance tools, and other collateral prior to public release.
By collaborating with the other signed MXM Adopters to create the specification and supporting infrastructure prior to public release, signed MXM Adopters also may be considered for the MXM Early Adopter Program, thereby benefiting from a time-to-market advantage.
Of course, signed MXM Adopters also enjoy a mutual royalty-free license under MXM Claims, due to the MXM Adopter Agreement.
